Hi, I’m Kacea Bjork, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, and Level One Chemical Dependency Counselor. I’m also a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, specializing in couples, individuals, and families, and an ICEEFT-approved Supervisor in Training. I love helping people become the best version of themselves, and I especially enjoy working with children and families.
With over 12 years of experience working across Alaska, from Ketchikan to Kotzebue, I’ve had the privilege of helping children, couples, and families navigate their challenges. My clinical work focuses on relationships: relationships with ourselves and relationships with the people we love. I'm comfortable working with a diverse blend of presenting issues--including behavior problems, trauma, addiction and co-parenting. I have been in solo private practice since 2023. I currently call the Matanuska Susitna Valley home, where I continue my work and feel deeply connected to this beautiful state.
When I’m not supporting my clients, you can find me enjoying the outdoors—fishing on Lake Susitna or hiking with my two dogs, Cleo and Twinkie. Above all, I’m a devoted wife and mother, and I believe in the power of strong, loving relationships.
